Executive Leadership
Albert J. Fernandez, President, CEO
Mr. Fernandez has more than 30 years of experience in the
development and implementation of security systems. As CEO, he
is responsible for strategic planning related to our activities. He sets the course for the
company.
Mr. Fernandez is the inventor of XTec's Mediametric
technology and holds more than 14 patents related to secure
subsystems. His background includes design and development of
software and hardware for recording systems, high-speed
duplication systems, decrementing value cards and access control
systems. Mr. Fernandez served on the GSA Common Access ID Interoperability Committee,
Physical Access Control Committee, and Testing Committee.
Kevin Kozlowski, Vice President of Government Initiatives
Mr. Kevin Kozlowski has more than 20 years of experience in
the Information Technology industry combined with a wide range
of experience in sales, marketing, engineering, and business
leadership. As the Vice President of Government Initiatives
since 2002 Mr. Kozlowski has been instrumental in establishing
XTec as a premier security provider for the federal government
overseeing cabinet level smart card systems deployments,
contributing to federal smart card publications and providing
security and authentication guidance to numerous federal
agencies.
Prior to joining XTec Mr. Kozlowski was a Senior Manager with
Northrop Grumman Information Technology, he provided oversight
and management of the combined Logicon and Litton-PRC smart card
practice. Mr. Kozlowski holds a bachelor's degree in finance and
economics from James Madison University. Mr. Kozlowski is a
Certified Smart Card Industry Professional in Government
(CSCIP/G) and is also a member of the Smart Card Alliance PACS
council.
Our Staff
XTec's staff includes IT and physical security specialists. Many of our employees have been in the smart card industry for decades; some even helped write the original
GSC-IS standards, the foundation for the current PIV standards.

Summary of Position:
As a Junior Program Manager you will work under general supervision of the Program Manager while performing work
related to contract and program success. Job duties include; participating in the development and administration of
program budget, implementing, promoting and evaluating deliverables on assigned programs. As the Junior Program Manager
you will also investigate and resolve client complaints while preparing and maintaining records and reports
relevant to program progress.

As a Junior Product Testing Specialist you will work within a division as the IT group, which is responsible for the front an backend testing for our product line. Key focus areas will be; operating the day to day procedures for our main systems, execute outlined testing procedures for various hardware and software products. This role requires a keen eye for detail as needed for record keeping of error reports as well as detailed tracking of daily progress. Additional duties will include, updating hardware to accommodate for engineering developments, troubleshooting and helpdesk assistance as needed.

As a Help Desk Staff member you will work within a division as the IT group, which is responsible for the troubleshooting and customer service functions of our help desk department. Key focus areas will be; operating the day to day procedures for our help desk, following scripts and procedures for troubleshooting, working directly with clients to resolve issues for hardware and software malfunctions, and documenting your progress through a trouble ticketing system. Additionally you may be tasked to reviewing error logs and responding to any problems occuring day to day, assist with testing and preventative maintenance of hardware as well as updating hardware to accommodate for engineering developments.
